Sally had dominated almost every game, frustrating the hedgehog to no end. Have you finished hackin' into the computer or what? I only need a couple more-"Scourge grabs Boomer by the neck before he can even finish his sentence,"I toldja what would happen if you didn't finish by the end of the day."Boomer was terrified and braced himself for Scourge's beating. The hedgehog was still angry about losing Freedom HQ and wasn't in themood for what he considered, "stupid politics".

From now on, I go by the name of Scourge." he corrected."It doesn't matter if you changed color. He charges towards Scourge but the green hedgehog saw it coming from a mile away.

Spin-off publications include Sonic Universe, an ongoing series featuring stories centered on different side-characters, reaching its 75th issue as of April 2015; Knuckles the Echidna, featuring Knuckles as the main protagonist with help from his friends the Chaotix, which ran for 32 issues; and Sonic X, a comic based on the Japanese anime of the same name, which lasted 40 issues.

The series has also had two crossovers with Archie's Mega Man comic-book series, based on the Mega Man video games from Capcom.

On holidays, Amy has been known to wear a red and white Santa Hat and a red version of her dress with golden buttons and pink fur covering the collar and hemline.

In addition, she wears a black belt with a golden buckle, black sportstape, golden bracelets, red gloves, pink stockings, and black and red versions of her shoes with pink and purple cuffs and white fur balls on top.

As such, her design was made more "agile and graceful" to make her a strong, able-bodied female character, allowing her to perform difficult physical tasks and make them look easy.

In June 23, 2008, Guinness World Records formally recognized it as the longest running comic series based on a video game.

The series features a cast of hundreds of characters, both drawn from the games and original creations, and focuses on a crime-fighting organization called the Freedom Fighters (initially consisting of Sonic, Tails, Sally Acorn, Rotor Walrus, Antoine D'Coolette, and Bunnie Rabbot) facing off against villains such as Doctor Eggman (with his assistant Snively) and alternate-world versions of the protagonists.

Additional concept art for Amy showed her wearing a purple scarf, similar to Sonic's, as well as longer stockings (possibly tights) that completely covered Amy's legs.

Amy is virtually identical to her main series counterpart, except that she appears slightly taller and thinner.
